At Zeleste, just steps from Nyhavn, you can celebrate your birthday, wedding, anniversary — or simply the joy of being together in warm, intimate surroundings centered around great food and even better conversations.

Tucked between the city's vibrant streets and the quiet rhythm of the harbor, our dining rooms and charming courtyard set the perfect scene, where candlelight and atmosphere come together to create an event worth remembering.

Atmospheric settings – indoors and out

Whether you're planning an intimate lunch or dinner in one of our rooms or looking to host a larger gathering under the open sky, we shape the space to suit your occasion.

Zeleste is housed in one of Nyhavn’s oldest buildings, dating back to 1664. The crooked angles, textured walls and preserved details add character and warmth to every room.

Our rooms are spread across the ground floor, courtyard, and first floor, offering flexibility for everything from smaller occasions to full celebrations:

• The main restaurant provides a relaxed yet elegant setting for seated meals.

• The secluded courtyard accommodates up to 45 seated guests outdoors.

• Upstairs, a bright private dining room holds up to 46 guests — ideal for intimate events or private parties.
  

We are happy to tailor the layout to suit your event, making room for what matters most: great food, meaningful conversation, and an atmosphere that feels effortless.

Food and wine at the center

At Zeleste, we care deeply about food and wine, and let taste and quality lead the way. Our menus are built around fresh fish, seafood, and seasonal produce, drawing inspiration from Nordic and French cuisine.

For private events, we offer a range of options:

• A lunch menu for daytime celebrations

• Elegant canapés for receptions

• A tasting menu crafted by our kitchen

• Or the option to compose your own two- or three-course meal from our seasonal selection of starters, mains, and desserts

We also have a wide selection of beverage packages and curated wine pairings - all of which can be adjusted to suit your preferences.

Please note:

• All party and group menus are for a minimum of 10 guests and must be ordered at least 5 weekdays before the event.

• The same menu must be chosen for all guests, unless there are vegetarians, allergies, or other special dietary requirements in the party.

• We reserve the right to change menus according to available deliveries.

• We will always seat parties and groups together. In the case of large groups, seating may take place at more than one table. We will do our best to accommodate special requests, but we cannot guarantee specific seating areas in advance.

• For parties of 10 guests or more, we kindly ask that payment is made as a single transaction for the entire group. We are not able to process individual payments for larger groups, as this helps ensure a smooth experience for both your party and our other guests.

• Please note that a fee will be charged for payments made with corporate cards or cards issued outside the EU/EEA.
