Experience the magic of Christmas at Zeleste – one of Copenhagen's most atmospheric settings for Christmas lunch 2026. Our rooms on Store Strandstræde are adorned with festive warmth, and the Christmas spirit fills our covered cobblestone courtyard, where a large open fireplace creates an unforgettable atmosphere.
Zeleste is known for its intimate Christmas atmosphere – with room to enjoy a glass of mulled wine and a cosy Christmas lunch for both small and large groups. Our Christmas menus are available from 13 November 2026.

1st Serving
Crown herring with red onion and capers
Cold-smoked salmon with cream cheese and lingonberries
Skagen salad with bleak roe and lemon
Breaded ling fillet with tartare sauce
Warm duck rillette with glazed onions
Two cheeses with seasonal compote

Classic risalamande with warm cherry sauce

The Christmas Lunch Platter is served daily between 12:00 to 5:00 PM — the table is yours for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Must be ordered by at least 2 guests. We also offer a vegetarian alternative – see the menu and indicate the number when booking.

Skagen salad with hand-picked prawns, dill crème, bleak roe and lemon

For parties of 10 guests or more, we will always seat the group together. For larger parties, several tables may be used. While we cannot guarantee a specific area of the restaurant, we will always do our best to accommodate special requests.
A single payment is required for parties of 10 guests or more. To ensure a smooth experience for both your party and our other guests, we are unfortunately unable to process individual payments for larger groups.
